भावों की श्रेष्ठता ..(The superiority of expression ..)

बाहरी दृश्यमय जगत की रचना ईश्वर द्वारा की गई है। इस पृथ्वी पर मनुष्य सहित अनेक जीव-जंतु अपना जीवन यापन करते हैं। अन्यान्य जीवों में मनुष्य विवेकयुक्त होने के कारण सबसे श्रेष्ठ प्राणी है, उसे ईश्वर ने बुद्धि के द्वारा विचार करने की शक्ति प्रदान की है। विचारों को पवित्र कर आत्मभाव में जाग्रत होने की युक्ति मात्र मनुष्य के पास है। इस भूमि पर अनेकानेक ऐसे महापुरुष हुए हैं जिन्होंने स्वयं को पवित्र कर आत्मा का साक्षात्कार किया है। अनेक ऐसे भी महापुरुष जन्मे हैं, जिन्होंने ईश्वर की अनन्य भक्ति कर उनके प्रकट दर्शन किए हैं। सूक्ष्मावलोकन करने से ऐसा विदित होता है कि पूर्व में मनुष्य का हृदय अत्यंत पवित्र व विचारों से निर्मल था। पवित्रता, शुद्धता व मन की सरलता उनके लिए अत्यधिक महत्व रखती थी। परंपरा से स्थापित मर्यादाओं का पालन उनके द्वारा उत्कृष्ट भाव से किया जाता था। लोग बाहरी दृष्टि से वैभवशाली नहीं थे, पर हृदय से बहुत संपन्न हुआ करते थे, उनके अंतर्मन में भावों की उत्कृष्टता कूट-कूट कर भरी थी। सादा जीवन उच्च विचार उनका मूलमंत्र होता था। काल की गति के अनुसार विचारों का अवमूल्यन शुरू हुआ तो अंतर्मन के भाव जगत में शुष्कता आने लगी। लोग विचारों की उच्चता को छोड़कर मात्र भौतिक जगत की संपन्नता को श्रेष्ठ मानकर उसकी ओर आकर्षित होते चले गए। स्वयं को भौतिक रूप से संवारने की होड़ समाज में जारी है। संस्कार क्षीण होने लगे, विचारों में गिरावट आने लगी। बाहरी जगत को ही सर्वस्व समझ कर बिना विचार किये इस दौड़ में लोग शमिल होते चले गये। प्रेम, सहिष्णुता, दया, परोपकार के स्थान पर बाहरी जगत की संपन्नता हावी होती चली गई। घर, नगर, गांव इससे ग्रसित होते गए। इस दौड़ के कारण अंदर झांकना बंद हो गया। इसका परिणाम भी अब सामने आने लगा है। लोग अवसाद ग्रस्त होते जा रहे हैं। अब तो लोग जीवन की अमूल्यता को ही नहीं समझ पा रहे हैं। जीवन जीने के लिए साधनों की आवश्यकता है, पर भाव की शुद्धता और पवित्रता से मन को सींचते रहने की भी आवश्यकता होती है। जीवन की निरंतरता के लिए इनकी आवश्यकता को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। इन्हें इनका स्थान प्रदान कर अंतर्मन के भावों में पवित्रता लाते हुए पूर्णता की ओर अग्रसर होते जाना ही कल्याणकारी होगा।
