शैतान की गठरियां ..(Devil's Gtrian ..)

एक बार ईसा कहीं जा रहे थे। थोड़ी दूर पहुंचने पर उन्हें एक सौदागर मिला। उसने अपने पांच गधों पर अलग-अलग गठरियां लाद रखी थीं। ईसा ने उसे रोका और पूछा, ‘भाई, तुम इतना सारा वजन लादकर क्या ले जा रहे हो?’ सौदागर ने जवाब दिया, ‘इन गधों पर लदी गठरियों में ऐसी चीजें हैं जो इंसान मात्र को मेरा गुलाम बना देती हैं। मेरे लिए ये बड़ी उपयोगी चीजे हैं।’ यह सुनकर ईसा बोले,  ‘अच्छा जरा बताओ तो, आखिर ऐसा क्या है तुम्हारी इन गठरियों में जो इंसान तुम्हारा गुलाम बन जाता है?’ इस पर सौदागर हौले-से मुस्कराया और फिर बोला, ‘आप जानना ही चाहते हैं तो सुनें! पहले गधे पर अत्याचार लदा है। दूसरे गधे पर लदी गठरी में अहंकार है। तीसरे पर मैंने ईर्ष्या को लादा हुआ है। चौथी गठरी में बेईमानी है और पांचवीं में छल-कपट है।’ ईसा ने उससे पूछा, ‘भाई, तुमने अपना कारोबार तो बता दिया, लेकिन यह बताओ कि तुम हो कौन?’ इस पर सौदागर ने इठला कर जवाब दिया, ‘मैं शैतान हूं। देखते नहीं, आज सारी मानव जाति ईश्वर की नहीं, मेरी प्रतीक्षा में रहती है। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि मेरे व्यापार में लाभ ही लाभ है।’ इतना कहकर वह सौदागर अपनी राह की ओर चला गया। उसके चले जाने के बाद ईसा प्रभु से प्रार्थना करने लगे। उन्होंने कहा, ‘हे ईश्वर, मानव जाति को विवेक प्रदान कर, ताकि वह शैतान के चंगुल से छुटकारा पा सके। इंसानों को भी यह अहसास तो हो कि वे क्या खरीदते रहते हैं और उन्हें वास्तव में चाहिए क्या!’ हमें भी ऐसी ही प्रार्थना करनी चाहिए। मानव जाति की भलाई इसी में है कि वह इन दुर्गुणों का ग्राहक न बने।
