नेकी का बदला नेकी ..(Revenge of good and righteousness...)

प्रेरक प्रसंग:  कृपया इस कहानी को पढने के बाद अपने जीवन में जरूर उतारे, और मानव सेवा को संसार का सबसे बड़ा धर्म माने. यही सच्ची मानवता है, यही सच्ची पूजा है, इबादत है.  

एक लड़का अपनी पढ़ाई का खर्च जुटाने के लिए फेरी लगाकर घरों में जरूरत का सामान बेचता था। एक दिन वह तेज भूख के कारण व्याकुल हो गया और किसी घर से भोजन मांगने जा पहुंचा। दरवाजा एक लड़की ने खोला, लेकिन लड़के ने संकोचवश केवल एक गिलास पानी मांगा। लड़की समझदार थी, वह लडके को देखकर ही समझ गई कि वह बहुत भूखा है। उसने उसे एक गिलास दूध पीने को दे दिया। लड़के ने कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करते हुए दूध पी लिया और पूछा कि उसके बदले उसे कितने पैसे देने होंगे। लड़की ने कहा- कुछ नहीं। यह तो मेरा मानवीय दायिव्य है। मां ने कहा है किसी की मदद के बदले पैसा नहीं लेना चाहिए।

लड़के ने उससे धन्यवाद कहा और उसे दृढ़ विश्वास हो गया कि संसार में अभी मानवता बची है। बड़ी होने पर उस लड़की को ऐसी गंभीर बीमारी हो गई जिसका इलाज लोकल अस्पताल में नहीं था। विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर को बुलाना पड़ा। डॉक्टर को मरीज का विवरण मिला। उसे पढ़कर डॉक्टर को कुछ याद आ गया। वह तुरंत लड़की के इलाज के लिए पहुंच गया। उसने देखा कि सचमुच यह वही लड़की थी जिसने उसे कभी गिलास भर दूध पिलाया था। उसने मन लगाकर लड़की का इलाज शुरू कर दिया। बढ़िया इलाज और देखभाल से वह शीघ्र स्वस्थ हो गई। इलाज का बिल काफी ज्यादा था, लेकिन डॉक्टर ने उसके नीचे कृतज्ञता सहित लिखा- इस बिल का भुगतान काफी पहले एक गिलास दूध से किया जा चुका है। नीचे उसके हस्ताक्षर थे। यह देखकर उस लड़की के मुंह से निकला - नेकी कभी बेकार नहीं जाती।
