इस बार के उत्तर से भी पिता संतुष्ट नहीं हुए। वरुण पुनः कठोर तपस्या में संलग्न हो गया। तप में उसे अनुभव हुआ कि ‘मन ही ब्रह्म है।’ इस उत्तर से भी पिता संतुष्ट नहीं हुए। पुनः तप करने पर ‘विज्ञान ही ब्रह्म है’, ऐसी अवधारणा पुष्ट हुई। पिता ने पुत्र को कहा, ‘अभी मंजिल प्राप्त नहीं हुई है, पुनः तप करो।’ इस बार तप की संपन्नता पर वरुण का मुख अलौकिक तेज से दमक रहा था। उसने कहा- ‘पिताश्री! आनंद ही ब्रह्म है।’ पिता ने पुत्र को गले लगाते हुए कहा,‘बेटा! तुम्हारी खोज पूरी हुई। आनंद का अर्थ है- अध्यात्म की प्राप्ति।’

मनुष्य जीवन वह दुर्लभ क्षण है, जिसमें हम जो चाहें पा सकते हैं। जो चाहें कर सकते हैं। यह वह अवस्था है, जहां से हम अपने जीवन को सही समझ दे सकते हैं, सफल और सार्थक कर सकते हैं। उपयोगी जीवन जीने वालों ने सदा अपने वर्तमान को आनंदमय बनाया है। 

शक्ति का सदुपयोग करने वालों ने वर्तमान को दमदार और भविष्य को शानदार बनाया है। मगर शक्ति और समय का दुरुपयोग करने वाला न तो वर्तमान में सुख से जी सकता है और न अपने भविष्य को चमकदार बना सकता है। जीवन की सफलता का एक बड़ा मूल्यवान सूत्र है - मुंह में राम, हाथ में काम। कर्म का सिद्धांत बड़ा सीधा-सादा है। जैसा करोगे, वैसा फल पाओगे। इसका हिसाब इस जन्म में ही हो जाता है।
