ज्ञान - अज्ञान ..(Knowledge - ignorance ..)

ज्ञान और अज्ञान जीवन नदी के दो तट हैं। एक का उद्देश्य जीवन-लक्ष्य की खोज है तो दूसरे का जीवन-लक्ष्य से भटकाव। एक को धारण करके   जीवन धन्य हो उठता है, मानव जीवन सफल हो जाता है, वह मरकर भी अमर हो जाता है, जबकि दूसरे का साथ जीते-जी कितनी बार मार देता है; कलंकित करता है और अस्तित्व को शून्य में मिलाकर अपमान की गर्त में धकेलकर आत्मग्लानि से भर देता है। पहली धारा ज्ञान की है जो ऊर्जावान वाणी बनकर शब्द की उपासना से प्राण-प्रतिष्ठित होती है, इसके श्रवण मात्र से मन, कर्म, वचन धन्य हो उठते हैं, व्यक्ति वंदनीय व पूजनीय हो जाता है। यह देवत्व का मार्ग है जो शांति, दया, उपकार, संतोष, प्रेरणा व उत्साह का सृजन कर मनुष्य को सद्मार्ग की ओर ले जाने में सहायक होता है और बदले में सम्मान, आनंद और असली खुशी की अलौकिक सृष्टि की रचना करता है। ज्ञान से पुण्य का उदय होता है, जबकि अज्ञान, पाप व भय को जन्म देता है। अज्ञान के अंधकार में मनुष्य का तन व मन मैला हो जाता है। वह न कुछ अच्छा सोच पाता है और न अच्छा कर ही पाता है, न स्वयं अच्छा रह पाता है, न दूसरों को ही अच्छा रख पाता है। पग-पग पर बैर-घृणा, द्वेष कुंडली मारकर उसे डसते रहते हैं। उनके विष से वह पूरे परिवेश को ही विषाक्त बनाता चला जाता है।  अज्ञान स्वयं को स्वयं का और दूसरों का बैरी बना देता है। अज्ञानी का जीवन इस सांसारिक भवसागर में एक ऐसी नाव के समान है, जो इसे पार करने के लिए बनी तो है, लेकिन जिसकी तलहटी में अज्ञानतारूपी छोटे-छोटे अनेक छेद हैं। खेवनहार चालाकी से उसे पार तो लगाना चाहता है लेकिन अज्ञानता के छिद्रों से जीवन महासमुद्र की तृष्णाओं, इच्छाओं का जल उसे लक्ष्य तक पहुंचने से पूर्व ही उसी भवसागर में डूबने में सहायक हो जाता है। ठीक उसी तरह अज्ञानता से भरा हुआ हमारा जीवन इसी तरह एक दिन हमें संसार सागर में डूबो देने की कुंजी बन जाता है। ‘श्रीमद्भागवत’ के अनुसार अज्ञान से ज्ञान ढका होता है। इसी से सब अज्ञानी प्राणी मोह को प्राप्त होते हैं। अज्ञान दुखों का विस्तारण करता है, लेकिन ज्ञान ऐसी पारसमणि है, जिसके संपर्क में आकर महत्वहीन व श्रीविहीन व्यक्ति न केवल महत्वपूर्ण हो जाता है, बल्कि श्रीयुक्त हो सबके कल्याण में भी सहायक होता है।
