भक्त और तर्क ..(Devotees and logic ..)

हममें से अधिकांश लोग नियमित रूप से मंदिरों में पूजा-आराधना के लिए जाते रहते हैं, लेकिन आश्चर्य यह है कि मंदिरों या देवालयों में जाकर भी हममें से अधिकांश यह नहीं कहते कि हे परमात्मा! मुङो शांति मिल जाए, मुङो मोक्ष मिल जाए, मैं आवागमन के चक्र से मुक्त हो जाऊं। इसके बजाय अधिकतर लोग यह मांगते हैं कि मैं मुकदमा जीत जाऊं, मैं व्यापार में सफल हो जाऊं, मेरी नौकरी लग जाए, मैं परीक्षा में पास हो जाऊं आदि। सिर्फ गिने-चुने लोग ही ऐसे होते हैं, जो परमात्मा से कुछ नहीं मांगते। अरे! परमात्मा से मांग कर तो आपने उनके साथ व्यापार आरंभ कर दिया। आप किसी मंदिर में जाकर दानस्वरूप कुछ सौ, हजार या लाख रुपये दे देते हैं और कहते हैं कि मेरे माता-पिता के नाम या मेरे नाम की पट्टी लगा देना। मेरी समझ में नहीं आता कि यह आपकी कौन सी पूजा है, यह आपकी कौन सी श्रद्धा है? आप कहते हैं कि मैं प्रतिदिन मंदिर जाता हूं। ऐसे तो आप जीवन भर मंदिर जाते रहेंगे और सोचते रहेंगे कि मेरा कल्याण हो जाएगा, लेकिन ऐसा होगा नहीं। मंदिर जाने भर से आपकी हाजिरी नहीं लगेगी। ऐसा इसलिए, क्योंकि आप मंदिर तो अपनी कामनाओं की पूर्ति के लिए जाते हैं। हममें से अधिकांश लोग अपनी कामनाओं की पूर्ति के लिए मंदिर जाते हैं और कुछ लोग इसलिए भी जाते हैं कि समाज में सब लोग कहें कि यह बहुत ही ईश्वर भक्त आदमी है। दान इसलिए करते हैं ताकि लोग कहें कि यह बहुत बड़ा दानवीर है। हम अपने लिए कभी यह पाने की चाहत में रहते हैं तो कभी वह पाने को लालायित रहते हैं, लेकिन जब कभी भी मंदिर में जाते हैं तो हमारे पास कोई न कोई चाहत अवश्य होती है। जो भक्त होता है, वह आत्मसमर्पण कर देता है। जो भक्त है, वह तर्क नहीं करता, क्योंकि वह तो तर्क से बाहर की चीज है। दो ही बातें हैं या तो आप अध्यात्म के माध्यम से परमात्मा का अनुभव करें या परमात्मा को साक्षात देखना चाहते हैं तो आत्मसमर्पण कर दें। अब यह आप पर निर्भर करता है कि आप परमात्मा को किस रूप में देखना चाहते हैं? उसे परमात्मा के रूप में देखना चाहते हैं या व्यापारी के रूप में देखना चाहते हैं या फिर अपनी कामना पूर्ति के रूप में देखना चाहते हैं?
