सत्संग से लाभ.. (Satsang benefit from. )

मगध के राजा चित्रांगद अपनी प्रजा का बहुत ध्यान रखते थे। उन्होंने अपने राज्य में अनेक विद्यालय, चिकित्सालय और अनाथालयों का निर्माण करवाया ताकि कोई भी व्यक्ति शिक्षा, चिकित्सा और आश्रय से वंचित न रहे। एक दिन अपनी प्रजा के सुख-दुख का पता लगाने के लिए वह अपने मंत्री के साथ दौरे पर निकले। उन्होंने गांवों, कस्बों व खेड़ों की यात्रा कर विभिन्न समस्याओं को जाना। कहीं सब ठीक था तो कहीं कुछ परेशानियां भी थीं। राजा ने लोगों को उनकी समस्याओं के शीघ्र निदान करने का आश्वासन दिया और आगे बढ़ गए। एक दिन जंगल से गुजरते हुए राजा को एक तेजस्वी संत से मिलने का मौका मिला। संत एक छोटी-सी कुटिया में रहकर छात्रों को पढ़ाते और सादा जीवन व्यतीत कर रहे थे। लौटते समय राजा ने संत को सोने की कुछ मोहरें भेंट करनी चाहीं। संत ने कहा, ‘राजन, इनका हम क्या करेंगे? इन्हें आप गरीबों में बांट दें।’ राजा ने जानना चाहा कि आश्रम में धनापूर्ति कैसे होती है तो संत बोले, ‘हम स्वर्ण रसायन से तांबे को सोना बना देते हैं।’ राजा ने चकित होकर कहा,‘अगर आप वह दिव्य रसायन मुझे उपलब्ध करा दें तो मैं अपने संपूर्ण राज्य को वैभवशाली बना सकता हूं।’ संत ने कहा, ‘आपको एक माह तक हमारे साथ सत्संग करना होगा। तभी स्वर्ण रसायन बनाने का तरीका आपको बताया जा सकेगा।’ राजा एक माह तक सत्संग में आए। एक दिन संत ने कहा, ‘राजन, अब आप स्वर्ण रसायन का तरीका जान लीजिए।’ इस पर राजा बोले, ‘गुरुवर, अब मुझे स्वर्ण रसायन की जरूरत नहीं है। आपने मेरे हृदय को ही अमृत रसायन बना डाला है।’ वह समझ गए थे कि सत्संग से व्यक्ति लोभ, मोह, वासना आदि विकारों से सहज ही मुक्त हो जाता है और उसकी आत्मा सात्विक प्रकाश से आलोकित हो जाती है।
