संत की सीख ..(Saints learn ..)

संत रामचंद्र डोंगरे के पास लोग अपनी समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए आते थे। वह कठिन से कठिन समस्याओं को पल भर में सुलझा देते थे। एक बार उनका एक भक्त रोते हुए उनके पास पहुंचा और हाथ जोड़कर बोला,'महाराज, मेरे परिवार में पर्याप्त सुख है, अपार धन-संपत्ति है, संतान भी हैं पर मेरे केवल दो पुत्रियां हैं। कोई पुत्र नहीं है। बिना पुत्र मुझे अपना जीवन अधूरा दिखाई देता है।’ डोंगरे जी बोले, ‘तुम पुत्र प्राप्ति के लिए इतना उत्सुक क्यों हो?’ इस पर वह बोला,‘ महाराज, पुत्र के बिना मुझे मोक्ष की प्राप्ति कैसे होगी?’ भक्त का जवाब सुनकर डोंगरे जी बोले, ‘तुमने किसी ऐसे पिता को देखा है जिसके पुत्रियां हों और उसे मोक्ष की प्राप्ति न हुई हो?’ भक्त बोला, ‘महाराज, मैंने किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति को देखा तो नहीं है। हां, इस तरह की बातें सुनी जरूर हैं।’ इस पर डोंगरे जी ने कहा, ‘जिस सचाई को तुमने स्वयं नहीं देखा, उसे मानते क्यों हो? जीवन में सुनी-सुनाई बातों पर विश्वास करने वाले अपना जीवन सही ढंग से नहीं जी पाते। मैं अनेक ऐसे परिवारों को जानता हूं जो कई-कई पुत्रों के होते हुए भी संतुष्ट नहीं। यदि पुत्र होने मात्र से पूर्णता होती तो कुसंस्कारी बेटों से माता-पिता परेशान क्यों होते? पुत्र या पुत्री होने से फर्क नहीं पड़ता। तुम दोनों पुत्रियों को ही अपना उत्तराधिकारी मानो। उन्हें अच्छी शिक्षा दिलाओ। यदि तुम अपनी पुत्रियों का पालन-पोषण बिना किसी भेदभाव के पूर्ण संतुष्ट होकर करोगे तो शायद एक दिन तुम्हारी बेटियां आसमान छू लेंगी। उनकी उंचाई को छूना शायद अनेक पुत्रों के द्वारा भी संभव न हो। किंतु इसके लिए तुम्हें अपने मन से पुत्र-पुत्री में भेदभाव की धारणा को इसी समय उखाड़ फेंकना होगा।’ भक्त ने उसी क्षण संकल्प किया कि वह पुत्र-पुत्री में भेदभाव नहीं करेगा।
