महात्मा की बात का मर्म ..(Mahatma heart of the matter ..)

एक महात्माजी ने नगर में एक भव्य मंदिर निर्माण करवाने का संकल्प लिया। उन्होंने दस वर्ष तक अथक परिश्रम करके करोड़ों रुपए इकट्ठे कर लिए, लेकिन जब मंदिर निर्माण का समय आया तो नगर में महामारी फैल गई। लोग मरने लगे। महात्माजी ने एकत्र सारा धन लगाकर एक अस्पताल बनवा दिया ताकि लोगों को अकाल मौत के मुंह में जाने से बचाया जा सके। महात्माजी ने मंदिर निर्माण के लिए फिर धन संग्रह करना प्रारंभ कर दिया और दस वर्ष तक अपने प्रयासों से पुनः करोड़ों रुपए एकत्र कर लिए। इस बार भी जब मंदिर निर्माण प्रारंभ होना था तो भयंकर भूकंप आ गया। असंख्य लोग बेघर हो गए। महात्माजी ने इस बार का सारा पैसा भूकंप पीड़ितों के पुनर्वास व अनाथ हुए बच्चों के लिए अनाथालय और विद्यालय बनवाने में खर्च कर दिया। इसके बाद भी महात्माजी ने अगले दस वर्षों तक कठोर परिश्रम करके पैसे इकट्ठे किए और मंदिर का निर्माण प्रारंभ करवा दिया। मंदिर पूरा होने पर महात्माजी ने उस पर लिखवाया- मंदिर संख्या तीन। लोगों ने हैरान होकर पूछा- मंदिर संख्या एक और दो कहीं दिखाई नहीं पड़ते। महात्माजी ने कहा- मंदिर संख्या एक तो हमारा अस्पताल है जो बीस साल पहले महामारी के दौरान बना था और मदिर संख्या दो वह अनाथालय तथा विद्यालय है जो दस साल पहले भूकंप के समय बने थे। महात्माजी ने कहा कि यद्यपि इस मंदिर का भी महत्त्व है, लेकिन इसके बिना काम चल सकता है। मंदिर संख्या एक और दो तो जरूरी हैं। इसीलिए अस्पताल, अनाथालय व विद्यालय को भी मंदिर ही कहना उचित प्रतीत होता है।
