अंधविश्वास से निकलने के लिए अपनी आंखों पर विश्वास जरूरी ..(Out of superstition to believe my eyes needed..)

ऐसे लोगों की कोई कमी नहीं जो भगवान के साथ ही जादू-टोना, तंत्र-मंत्र, भूत-प्रेत सभी में समान रूप से भरोसा करते हैं। ऐसे मंदिरों और मजारों की भी कोई कमी नहीं, जहां ये दोनों चीजें एक साथ मौजूद हैं। जबकि कहा ये जाता है कि जहां भगवान का वास होता है, वहां भूत-प्रेत और शैतान जैसी चीजें फटकती भी नहीं। कुछ ऐसे लोग भी होते हैं जो भगवान में विश्वास करते हैं, शैतान को पूजते नहीं। पर वे उनसे डरते हैं। ऐसे लोगों से ये कह दिया जाए कि तुम पर जो मुसीबत है वो किसी के जादू-टोने के कारण आई है, तो वो तुरंत उस पर भरोसा कर लेते हैं और भगवान की शरण में चले जाते हैं। जब भगवान पर विश्वास है, तो फिर शैतान से क्यों डरना?

आस्था भी है और अंधविश्वास भी। अंधविश्वास ने हम सबको इतना जकड़ रखा है कि ऐसे न करो, ये रंग न पहनो, ये महीना अच्छा नहीं, ये दिन अच्छा नहीं...और भी न जाने क्या-क्या बातें की जाती हैं। जब विश्वास करते समय दिमाग न लगाया जाए तो वह अंधविश्वास बन जाता है। जब विज्ञान और व्यवस्था किसी के सामर्थ्य से बाहर हो जाती है तो चमत्कार करने वाले बाबा ही व्यक्ति की आखिरी उम्मीद हो जाते हैं। असल में हमने विश्वास और अंधविश्वास में अंतर करना छोड़ दिया है। इससे ऐसी मान्यताओं ने हमारे जीवन में अपना स्थान मजबूत कर लिया जिनका वास्तविकता से कोई संबंध नहीं है। व्यर्थ की परंपराओं का आंख मूंदकर पालन करना भी एक तरह से ब्रेनवाश है। इसमें पुरानी पीढ़ी नयी पीढ़ी के दिमाग में कुछ विचार या मान्यताएं भर देती है और नयी पीढ़ी अज्ञानता की वजह से उन बातों को मानती चली जाती है। और फिर वह उन्हें खुद से अलग नहीं कर पाती। 

जब व्यक्ति का जन्म होता है तो उसका दिमाग एक कोरे कागज की तरह होता है।… परिवार, समाज या दुनिया उसके दिमाग में जो लिखती चली जाती है, वह उसे ही मानता चला जाता है…। परिवार के इन्हीं संस्कारों में उसे अंधविश्वास भी मिलते जाते हैं।… ये सभी कभी पुरानी पीढ़ी की अज्ञानता से मिलते हैं या फिर कुछ पोंगापंडितों या धूर्तों के स्वार्थ की वजह से। 

किसी अंधविश्वास या रूढ़ि का अतिवादी तरीके से पालन करना व्यक्ति को मानसिक रोगी भी बना देता है। दुखद है कि हम लकीर के फकीर बने रहने में ही सुखी महसूस करते हैं। यदि ठहरकर विचार करें तो हम पाएंगे कि अंधविश्वास वही लोग करते हैं जिन्हें खुद पर विश्वास नहीं होता। अंधविश्वास से बाहर निकलने के लिए अपनी आंखों पर विश्वास करना सबसे जरूरी है। हमारी 

बुद्धि और विवेक तभी काम करेंगे जब हम उनका प्रयोग शुरू करेंगे।
