परिवार का प्रेम ..(Family Love ..)

बीच वाले पुत्र ने स्वर्ण मुद्राएं और अपार राशि मांग लेने को कहा। छोटे पुत्र ने सुझाव दिया कि हमें लक्ष्मी जी से अन्न का भंडार मांगना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार बड़ी सेठानी और उसकी पुत्रवधुओं ने भी अपनी-अपनी बुद्धि के अनुसार कुछ न कुछ अलग ही मांगने को कहा। अंत में सबसे छोटी पुत्रवधू की बारी आई तो उसने आदर पूर्वक अपने ससुर से कहा, ‘पिताजी, जब लक्ष्मी ही चली जाएंगी तो ये वस्तुएं किस प्रकार हमारे पास रहेंगी? इसलिए यदि आपको मांगना है तो आप यह मांगिए कि हमारे परिवार में सदैव प्रेम बना रहे।’ परिवार के सभी सदस्यों को छोटी बहू की यह बात बड़ी अच्छी लगी। जब रात के समय लक्ष्मी ने फिर स्वप्न में दर्शन दिए तो सेठ ने हाथ जोड़कर उनसे कहा, ‘हे देवी! मुझे केवल एक ही वरदान दीजिए कि हमारे परिवार में सब एक-दूसरे का आदर करें, हममें परस्पर विश्वास बना रहे और हम प्रेम की डोर में बंधे रहें।’  लक्ष्मी जी मुस्कराईं और बोलीं, ‘फिर तो मैं भी यहीं रहूंगी।’
