सूर्य नित्य-निरंतर ‘ॐ’ का ही जाप करता अनादिकाल से चमक रहा है .....(Sun ever-constant 'chant of From time immemorial, is the shining ..)

नासा के वैज्ञानिकों ने अनेक अनुसंधानों के बाद डीप स्पेस में यंत्रों द्वारा सूर्य में हर क्षण होने वाली एक ध्वनि को रिकॉर्ड किया। उस ध्वनि को सुना तो वैज्ञानिक चकित रह गए, क्योंकि यह ध्वनि कुछ और नहीं बल्कि भारतीय संस्कृति की वैदिक ध्वनि ‘ॐ’ थी। सुनने में बिलकुल वैसी, जैसे हम ‘ॐ’ बोलते हैं, 'ओ' छोटा और 'म' लंबा। इस मंत्र का गुणगान वेदों में ही नहीं, हमारे अन्य ग्रंथों में भी किया गया है। आश्चर्य इस बात का था कि जो गहन ध्वनि मनुष्य अपने कानों से नहीं सुन सकता, उसको ऋषियों ने कैसे सुना। सामान्य व्यक्ति बीस मेगा हर्ट्स से बीस हजार मेगा हर्ट्स की ध्वनियों को ही सुन सकता है। इतनी ही हमारे कान की श्रवण शक्ति है। उससे नीचे या उससे ऊपर की ध्वनि को सुनना संभव ही नहीं है। इंद्रियों की एक सीमा है, उससे कम या ज्यादा में वे कोई जानकारी नहीं दे सकतीं। 

वैज्ञानिकों का आश्चर्य असल में समाधि की उच्च अवस्था का चमत्कार था जिसमें ऋषियों ने वह ध्वनि सुनी, अनुभव की और वेदों के हर मंत्र से पहले उसे लिखा और 'महामंत्र' बताया। ऋषि कहते हैं, यह ॐ की ध्वनि परमात्मा तक पहुंचने का माध्यम है। यह उसका नाम है। महर्षि पतंजलि कहते हैं ‘तस्य वाचकः प्रणव’ अर्थात परमात्मा का नाम प्रणव है। प्रणव यानि ‘ॐ’। प्रश्न उठता है कि सूर्य में ये ही यह ध्वनि क्यों हो रही है? इसका उत्तर गीता में दिया गया है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुन से कहते हैं - जो योग का ज्ञान मैंने तुझे दिया, यह मैंने आदिकाल में सूर्य को दिया था। 

देखा जाए तो तभी से सूर्य नित्य-निरंतर केवल ‘ॐ’ का ही जाप करता हुआ अनादिकाल से चमक रहा है। यह जाप सूर्य ही नहीं, संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड कर रहा है। ऋषियों ने कहा था यह ध्वनि ध्यान में अनुभव की जा सकती है, लेकिन कानों से सुनी नहीं जा सकती। इसी ध्वनि को शिव की शक्ति या उनके डमरू से निकली प्रथम ध्वनि या अनहद नाद कहा जाता है जो हमारी चेतना की अंतरतम गहराइयों में भी गूंज रहा है। 

जब हम ‘ॐ’ का जाप करते हैं, सबसे पहले मन विचारों से खाली होता है। उसके बाद जब ये जाप चलता रहता है, तब साधक के जाप की फ्रीक्वेंसी उस ब्रह्मांड में गूंजती 'ॐ' की ध्वनि की फ्रीक्वेंसी के समान हो जाती है। तब साधक ध्यान की गहराइयों में चला जाता है। इस अवस्था को वननेस या समाधि या अद्वैत कहा जाता है। ऐसे में मन, चेतना के साथ लीन हो जाता है।
