मुक्ति और जवाबदेही ... (Freedom and Responsibility...)

उन दिनों चारों ओर रामकृष्ण परमहंस की चर्चा फैल रही थी। युवा पीढ़ी में उनका शिष्य बनने की होड़ सी लग गई थी। दूर-दूर से युवक आते और उनका शिष्य बनने की प्रार्थना करते। एक दिन इसी उद्देश्य से एक उत्साही युवक रामकृष्ण परमहंस के पास पहुंचा। परमहंस के चरणों में झुककर उसने कहा, ‘हे गुरुदेव, मुझे अपना शिष्य बना लीजिए और गुरुमंत्र दीजिए ताकि मैं भी एक संत बन सकूं।' युवक की बात सुनकर परमहंस मुस्कराए। कुछ देर बाद उन्होंने उससे पूछा, ‘ये बताओ, तुम्हारे परिवार में तुम्हारे अलावा और कौन-कौन हैं?’ युवक ने उत्तर दिया, ‘मेरे अलावा सिर्फ मेरी बूढ़ी मां हैं।' परमहंस कुछ देर मौन रहे, फिर पूछा, ‘तुम गुरुमंत्र लेकर साधु क्यों बनना चाहते हो? ’युवक बोला, ‘मैं इस मोहमाया और ऊंच-नीच से भरे संसार को छोड़कर मुक्ति पाना चाहता हूं।'  इस पर परमहंस ने समझाया, ‘तुम मुक्ति नहीं चाहते, बल्कि अपनी जवाबदेही से भाग रहे हो। मुक्ति तो एक बहाना है।  तुम्हें लगता है कि साधु बनकर तुम बिना किसी दायित्व के जीवनयापन करोगे। तुम्हारा काम तो चल ही जाएगा, बाकी लोग चाहे जो करें। यह साधना नहीं पलायन है। आजकल बहुत से लोग ऐसा ही कर रहे हैं। यह अपनी शक्ति का दुरुपयोग है। समझ लो, अपनी बूढ़ी मां को असहाय छोड़कर तुम्हें मुक्ति कभी नहीं मिलेगी। तुम्हारी सच्ची मुक्ति तो इसी में है कि तुम पूरी शक्ति के साथ अपनी बूढ़ी और असहाय मां की सेवा करो। उनकी सेवा ही ईश्वर की भक्ति है। वैसे भी मां को ईश्वर के समान माना गया है।' युवक ने साधु बनने की योजना छोड़ दी और घर लौटकर अपनी मां की सेवा में जुट गया।

(Recalling those days, Ramakrishna was spreading around. His youth was a rush to become a disciple. Youth from all come and pray to become a disciple. One day an enthusiastic young Ramakrishna came to the same purpose. He bowed at the feet of Paramahansa, "O Master, let me *Gurumantra your pupil and so I will make me a saint." The young man smiled hearing about Paramahamsa. After a while he asked him, "Tell me, what else are you in your family?" The young man replied, "I do besides just my old mother." Paramahansa been silent for a while, then asked, "Why do you want to be a hermit with Gurumantra? "The young man said," I leave this world full of blip Fascination and want to cure. " It explained by Paramahansa, "You do not want freedom, but are part of its accountability. Salvation is an excuse. Do you think that living saint as you would with no obligation. Your job will come, no matter what the rest of the people. This practice is no escape. Nowadays many people are doing it. This is abuse of power. Assume, leaving her helpless old mother will never release you. If true salvation lies in your soul you serve your old and helpless mother. Their devotion to God's service. It is considered as the mother of God. " The young man gave up plans to become a monk and went on to serve his mother back home.)
