शिक्षा और ज्ञान ..(Education and knowledge ..)

शिक्षा मानव के अंतर्मन का एक ऐसा भाव है, एक ऐसी अनुभूति है जिससे हमारा वर्तमान ही नहीं भविष्य भी जुड़ा होता है। इस शिक्षा के संबंध में हमारे ऋषियों ने बहुत चिंतन किया होगा, वर्षो  तक उन्होंने कार्य किया होगा और उस पर गहरे शोध किए होंगे, तब जाकर एक निश्चित मार्ग निकल पाया होगा। इस संदर्भ में यह सोचने वाली बात है कि हमारे उन महानुभावों ने क्या समझकर ऐसा निर्णय लिया होगा कि बड़े-बड़े राजाओं की आंखों के तारे राजकुमार हों या सुख-सुविधाओं और वैभवों में रहने वाले लोग हों या फिर ऊंची मर्यादाओं में रहने वाले लोग, उन सभी को गुरुकुल में जाकर ही शिक्षा प्राप्त करनी चाहिए। आखिर कोई तो कारण होगा, इन सब बातों का। क्यों राजकुमारों के लिए भी जंगलों में जाकर गुरुकुल की कुटिया में बैठकर शिक्षा लेने की योजना उन लोगों ने बनाई थी। हम सभी जानते हैं कि हमारे मनीषियों के उस चिंतन का परिणाम भी काफी सकारात्मक रूप में प्रकट हुआ। जो युवा गुरुओं की कुटिया से ज्ञान प्राप्त कर समाज के बीच आए, वे अद्भुत प्रतिभा के धनी थे। वे केवल गणित, इतिहास और भूगोल की बातें ही नहीं करते थे, बल्कि जीवन के रहस्यों और तथ्यों का भी उन्हें बड़ा गहरा ज्ञान था। आज के दौर में भी लोग खूब पढ़ते हैं। ऐसे लोग एमए और पीएचडी कर लेते हैं, ऊंची डिग्रियां पा लेते हैं, लेकिन उनका अध्ययन क्षेत्र किसी एक विषय तक ही सीमित होता है। आज विश्वविद्यालय वाले भी पीएचडी और डीलिट् की डिग्रियां उसी विषय में प्रदान करते हैं, जिसमें आपने एमए किया है। यह तो एक बंधन स्वरूप है। आज हमने संपूर्ण जीवन को एक सीमित दायरे में बांध लिया है। हम सदैव एक विषय की ही बातें करते हैं। हमने अपने चारों ओर एक घेरा बना रखा है और उसके बाहर झांकना हमें उचित नहीं लगता। सच तो यह है कि इस घेरे के बाहर न तो हम जाना चाहते हैं और न ही उसके बारे में कुछ जानना चाहते हैं। ऐसे लोग सिर्फ अपने विषय पर ही बात किया करते हैं, क्योंकि यहां हमारा एक दायरा बनकर रह जाता है और हम वहीं तक सीमित होकर रह जाते हैं। अब प्रश्न यह है कि क्या हमारा जीवन दायरे में सीमित होने योग्य है? क्या हमारे जीवन का वृत्त इतना छोटा है?
