शंकराचार्य की भिक्षा..(Shankaracharya's alms ..)

यह उन दिनों की बात है, जब शंकराचार्य आश्रम में रहकर विद्याध्ययन कर रहे थे। प्रतिभा के धनी शंकराचार्य से उनके गुरु और दूसरे शिष्य अत्यंत प्रभावित थे। आश्रमवासी जीवन-निर्वाह के लिए भिक्षाटन हेतु नगर में जाया करते थे। आश्रम का नियम था कि एक छात्र एक ही घर में भिक्षा के लिए जाएगा और उस घर से जो मिलेगा, उसी से उसे संतोष करना होगा। एक दिन शंकराचार्य एक निर्धन वृद्धा के घर चले गए। उसके पास थोड़े से आंवले थे। उसने वही आंवले शंकराचार्य को दे दिए। शंकराचार्य ने वे आंवले ले लिए। फिर वह आश्रम का नियम भंग कर पड़ोस में एक सेठ के घर चले गए। सेठानी मिठाइयों का एक बड़ा थाल लेकर बाहर आई। पर शंकराचार्य वह भिक्षा अपनी झोली में लेने की बजाय बोले, ‘यह भिक्षा पड़ोस में रहने वाली निर्धन वृद्धा को दे आओ।’ सेठानी ने वैसा ही किया। शंकराचार्य ने सेठानी से कहा,‘मां, आपसे एक और भिक्षा मुझे चाहिए। वह निर्धन वृद्धा जब तक जीवित रहे तब तक आप उनका भरण-पोषण करें। क्या आप यह भिक्षा मुझे देंगी?’ सेठानी ने हामी भर दी। शंकराचार्य प्रसन्न मन आंवले लेकर आश्रम पहुंचे। वहां पहुंच कर उन्होंने अपने गुरु से कहा, ‘गुरुदेव, आज मैंने आश्रम के नियम को भंग किया है। मैं आज भिक्षा के लिए दो घरों में चला गया। मुझसे अपराध हुआ है। कृपया मुझे दंड दें।’ इस पर गुरु बोले,‘शंकर, हमें सब कुछ पता चल चुका है। तुम धन्य हो। तुमने आश्रम के नियम को भंग करके उस निरुपाय स्त्री को संबल दिया। तुमने ऐसा करके कोई अपराध नहीं किया, बल्कि पुण्य अर्जित किया है। तुम्हारे इस कार्य से आश्रम का कोई नियम भंग नहीं हुआ है, बल्कि इससे इसका गौरव ही बढ़ा ही है। तुम एक दिन निश्चय ही महान व्यक्ति बनोगे।’ गुरु की यह भविष्यवाणी एक दिन सच साबित हुई।

(This is one of those days when the Shankaracharya Ashram Vidyadhyyn were staying. Talented Seer was influenced by his mentor and disciple others. Asrmwasi for living in the city used for begging. The ashram was a rule that a student in the same house and the house which will be for alms, that it would be content. One day a poor old woman seer gone home. He was a little gooseberry. He gave the same gooseberries to Shankaracharya. Shankaracharya took those amla. Then he dissolved Ashram rules neighborhood Seth gone home. Sethani came out with a big plate of sweets. Instead of taking the alms clinch the Seer said, "This poor old woman who lives in the neighborhood, give alms to come." Setani did so. Setani Shankaracharya said, 'Mother, you should me an alms. He survived until the poor old woman by then you do the maintenance. What will you beg me? "Said Setani accepted. Seer happy mind Amla reached the ashram. The trio said to his master, "Master, today I broke the rules of the ashram. Today I went for alms in the two houses. I have committed a crime. Please punish me. "The master said, 'Shankar, we have come to know everything. You are blessed. You Ashram rule by dissolving the support given to her irremediable. By doing so you have committed no crime, but has merit. You did not break any rules of the Ashram of this work, but it has only increased its graces. Surely one day you will become a great man. "Guru's prediction came true one day.)
