समृद्धि और संयम ..(Prosperity and moderation ..)

समृद्धि जरूरतों को सीमित करने से आती है। समृद्धि संपदा का संग्रह नहीं है। जरूरतें ज्यादा हों तो हम कभी भी समृद्ध नहीं हो सकते। धन और समृद्धि के बीच फासला हो तो हम समृद्ध हैं। फासला नहीं है तो हम सम्राट हैं। फासला ज्यादा है तो हम दरिद्र हैं। ऐसा समृद्ध व्यक्ति ही धर्म में प्रवेश करने का अधिकारी है, जिसकी जरूरतें कम हैं। जब जरूरतें थोड़ी होंगी तो हम उन्हें जल्दी पूरी कर लेंगे और हमारी जीवन-ऊर्जा धर्म की डगर पर चल पड़ेगी। प्यास बुझाने के लिए समुद्र की जरूरत नहीं है। इसके लिए छोटा झरना काफी है। धन समुद्र का खारा पानी है। जितना पीते हो उतनी प्यास बढ़ती है। सोने-चांदी से न प्यास बुझती है और न ही हीरे-जवाहरात से भूख मिटती है। धन परमात्मा की विभूति है। यह सबका है। इसे समान रूप से लोगों में बहने दो। व्यर्थ का विस्तार छोड़ दो। धन का जाला मत बनाओ, नहीं तो मकड़ी की तरह फंस जाओगे। थोड़े में तृप्ति ही समृद्धि है। सौंदर्य प्रसाधन जुटाने और खतरनाक हथियार बनाने में सारा धन लग जाता है, जिसे हम भूल से सभ्यता समझ लेते हैं। ध्यान दें कि आपकी शान-शौकत के नाते आधी दुनिया भूखी है। रोटी नहीं, छप्पर नहीं, औषधि नहीं। क्या यही सभ्यता है? झूठी प्रतिष्ठा और अशोभनीय  महत्वाकांक्षा की तृप्ति में आधा श्रम व्यर्थ चला जाता है। व्यक्ति यदि झूठी प्रतिष्ठा के लिए तमाम जतन करना छोड़ दे तो उसकी आधी से अधिक समस्याएं स्वत: समाप्त हो जाएंगी।  जीवन भर ‘पद-प्रतिष्ठा’ के इर्द-गिर्द चक्कर लगाने में सारी ऊर्जा खर्च हो जाती है। ऊर्जा बचाइए और सांस्कृतिक समृद्धि में लगाइए। दिन भर धन के पीछे दौड़ते-दौड़ते रात दु:स्वप्न में कट जाती है। यह न सभ्यता है और न संस्कृति। यहां सब कुछ दिखावा है, छलावा है। खेत-खलिहान सूखे पड़े हैं। यह सभ्यता नहीं है। कुछ ज्यादा खाकर बीमार हैं तो कुछ भूख से बीमार हैं। यह एक असभ्य स्थिति है। समृद्धि वहीं है जहां थोड़े में निर्वाह हो जाता है। संयम से ढेर सारी ऊर्जा बचती है, जिसे सृजन में, संगीत में, समाधि में लगाया जा सकता है। ऐसी समझ परमात्मा तक ले जाती है। यही जीवन का लक्ष्य है।

 (Prosperity comes from limiting requirements. Prosperity is not a collection of resources. If more needs we can never be too rich. If the distance between wealth and prosperity we are rich. So we are not distance emperor. So we are more poor gap. The rich man has the authority to enter into this religion, whose needs are less.
