हृदय में जीवमात्र के प्रति स्नेह के जल से करें शिव का अभिषेक ..(The waters of affection towards other beings in the heart of the Abhishek Shiva...)

भगवान शिव कल्याणकारी, मंगलमय और परम शांतिमय हैं। शिव-शंकर की लीलाएं भक्त समाज भली भांति जानता है। उनकी लीलाओं में संसार के समस्त मंगलों के मूल का रहस्य छिपा हुआ है। शिवजी समस्त देवताओं के आराध्यदेव, सभी स्वामियों के स्वामी और परब्रह्मपूर्ण प्रकाशयुक्त परमात्मा हैं। वे दिग्वसन होते हुए भी भक्तों को अतुल ऐश्वर्य प्रदान करनेवाले, अनंत राशियों के अधिपति होते हुए भी भस्मभूषित, सदा कांता से आलिंगित रहते हुए भी मदनजीत और अर्द्धनारीश्वर कहलाते हैं।

कहते हैं, केवल देवता ही नहीं, असुर, नाग, किन्नर, मनुष्य आदि सभी भगवान शंकर के लीला-चरित्रों का ध्यान स्मरण, चिंतन करके आनंदित होते रहते हैं। लेकिन सबसे सरल व उत्तम साधना है उस महामंत्र का स्मरण करना जिसे भगवान शिव स्वयं जपते थे। रामचरित मानस में गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी ने कहा है - महामंत्र जेहि जपत महेशू, काशी-मुक्ति हेतु उपदेशू।। अर्थात वह महामंत्र जिसे महेश स्वयं जपते थे और काशी में मुक्ति हेतु लोगों को इसका उपदेश देते थे। कुछ लोगों की मान्यता है ‘नमः शिवाय’ ही वह महामंत्र है। लेकिन यदि यही महामंत्र होता तो गोस्वामी जी को भला महामंत्र कहने की क्या जरूरत थी? सीधे-सीधे कहते ‘नमः शिवाय जेहि जपत महेशू, काशी मुक्ति हेतु उपदेशू।’ ऐसा महामंत्र, जो कि सभी मंत्रों से भी महान है, बड़ा है तथा जिसमें अक्षर यानि कि शब्द नहीं हैं। ऐसा महामंत्र जिसकी न शुरुआत है और न अंत। निरक्षर, बिना शब्दों का, जो मुख से उच्चरित नहीं होता, फिर भी महसूस कर सकते हैं ऐसा महामंत्र। इसीलिए तो कहा है अव्यक्त होते हुए भी व्यक्त हैं, प्रगट हैं, साक्षात हैं। वही महामंत्र बीजमंत्र है, शिवजी का मूल मंत्र है जिसे स्वयं शिवजी अहर्निश स्मरण करते हैं, उस महामंत्र में सदैव लीन रहते हैं। 

शिवपुराण के जरिए शिवजी कह रहे हैं, ‘कलिकाल में मनुष्य मेरी परम विद्या का आश्रय लेकर, भक्ति भाव से महामंत्र का जाप करके संसार के बंधन से मुक्त होकर मोक्ष प्राप्त करता है। वह महामंत्र अकथनीय और अचिंतनीय है तथा उसका चिंतन समस्त दुःखों का व बुराइयों का हरण करता है। यह विद्या संसार सागर को तारनेवाली है इसमें कोई अतिशयोक्ति नहीं। शिव का पूजक, आराधक सहनशील होता है तथा मन वाणी कर्म से सभी मनुष्यों का सदा भला करता है।

ध्यान रहे, सिर्फ घट भर कर जल शिवलिंग पर अर्पित कर देने से काम नहीं चलेगा। कायारूपी घट में स्नेह का नीर भरकर घट-घट विराजमान शिव का अभिषेक करना चाहिए। हृदय में हर प्राणी के प्रति स्नेह भाव होने पर ही शिवमय जगत प्रतीत होगा और विश्व में प्रेम, दया, करुणा की पवित्र धारा प्रवाहित होगी।
