सेवा .. (Service..)

सेवा मानव-हृदय के भीतर उत्पन्न होने वाला वह मिशनरी भाव है जिसका आविर्भाव स्वहित की अपेक्षा लोकहित के उद्देश्य से नि:स्वार्थ रूप से हृदय में होता है। सेवा का उद्देश्य पाना नहीं, बल्कि प्राण-पण से अपने आराध्य या फिर अभीष्ट को समर्पित करना है। इसका पारितोषिक, भौतिक नहीं बल्कि अभौतिक व अनुभूतिपरक होता है। शाश्वत आनंद प्रदान करने वाला परम तत्व अनमोल है। शाश्वत खुशी देने वाले हृदयकोश में परम तत्व की अनुभूति होती है।  सच तो यह है कि आनंद की प्राप्ति का स्थान संसार का कोई भी भौतिक सुख या उपलब्धि नहीं ले सकती। नौकरी भी किन्हीं अर्थो में सेवा की ही अनुगामिनी या सहचर है, किंतु इससे मिलने वाला पारितोषिक भौतिक रूप में उपस्थित होकर क्षणिक सुख की सृष्टि रचता है और दूसरे ही क्षण इसकी प्राप्ति से अतृप्ति, असंतोष, निराशा, घृणा, पश्चाताप, चंचलता, अरुचि और अन्य नकारात्मक भाव पैदा होने लग जाते हैं। नौकरी भौतिक उन्नति या प्राप्ति की आशा से किया जाने वाला कार्य है, जिसमें समर्पण, अपनत्व, श्रद्धा व सेवा से कहीं अधिक स्वार्थपरायणता, भौतिक प्राप्ति की उत्कंठा या जिज्ञासा समाहित रहती है। नौकरी से मिलने वाले पारितोषिक से जीवन की खुशी का ग्राफ ऊपर-नीचे होकर मन को उसी अनुपात में सुख-दुख, खुशी-पश्चाताप का सुफल या कुफल देकर उद्वेलित-आंदोलित करता रहता है, लेकिन सेवा का पारितोषिक सदैव मन की जीर्ण-शीर्ण कुटिया को हरी-भरी कर सुख, आनंद व खुशी को बहुगुणित हर्षित-प्रफुल्लित रखता है। सेवा ईश्वर का स्थायी सानिध्य पाने का आनंददायी मार्ग है और नौकरी स्वयं की दुर्लभ प्रतिभा को भौतिक स्वार्र्थो तक ही सीमित रखती है। सच्ची सेवा, स्वयं के इस भौतिक अभिनय से जन्म-जन्मांतरों के बंधनों को काटकर ईश्वर के साथ तादात्म्य स्थापित करने का एक स्थायी प्रमाणपत्र है। आइए निश्चय करें कि शाश्वत व वास्तविक आनंद का मार्ग नौकरी है या आनंददायी सेवा? किसी संस्थान या प्रतिष्ठान में नौकरी करने का सांसारिक व भौतिक पहलुओं के मद्देनजर अपना महत्व है। रोटी, कपड़ा, मकान, शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य संरक्षण के संदर्भ में धन की जरूरत होती है। मौजूदा संदर्भ में सेवा के महत्व और उससे मिलने वाले संतोष को रेखांकित करने के लिए नि:स्वार्थ सेवा की तुलना में नौकरी को वरीयता कम दी गयी है।
