प्रार्थना ..(Prayer..)

जीवन जीने की अनेक विधियां हैं, अनेक मार्ग हैं। महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि सुखमय जीवन कैसे जिया जाए। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति सुख चाहता है, क्योंकि सुख से ही जीवन में प्रसन्नता आती है। इसी प्रसन्नता की खोज के लिए मनुष्य अनेक उपाय करता है। इसी सुख की खोज के लिए मनुष्य अनेक उपाय करता है, इसी सुख की खोज के लिए वह व्यापार करता है, राजनीति में जाता है या नौकरी करता है। इसी सुख की खोज में वह भटक भी जाता है और ऐसा भटकता है कि जिस जीवन को सुखी बनाने के लिए वह बहुत कुछ करना चाहता है, उसी प्रयास में उसका जीवन कहीं गुम हो जाता है। मनुष्य के जीवन के दुर्भाग्य की कहानी यहीं से शुरू होती है हमारे जीवन में सुख और शांति हो, इसके लिए हमारे संतों का मानना है कि अगर आप जीवन में सुख प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं, तो यह सुख आपको सांसारिक वस्तुओं को प्राप्त कर नहीं मिलेगा। ऐसा इसलिए, क्योंकि संसार में क्षणिक सुख है, सुख का भ्रम है। यहां सुख नहीं है, सुख के समान कुछ आभास है। सुख केवल आध्यात्मिक जीवन में ही प्राप्त होता है। सुख का एकमात्र निवास केवल अध्यात्म के आंगन में ही होता है, क्योंकि अध्यात्म का अर्थ है, परमात्ममय सृष्टि में त्यागभाव से संसार की वस्तुओं का उपयोग करना। अध्यात्म में प्रवेश के लिए पहले तो हमें सुपात्र व्यक्ति बनने की आवश्यकता है। केवल सुपात्र ही आध्यात्मिक हो सकता है। अध्यात्म की पहली शर्त है, संसार के सभी बंधनों से मुक्ति और सरल आचरण का अनुकरण। कारण यह है कि परमात्मा के द्वार तक केवल सरल और सीधा मार्ग ही जाता है।   जब तक मनुष्य सरल नहीं बनता तब तक उसकी पुकार परमात्मा नहीं सुनते। प्रार्थना और संगीत दोनों एक ही सिक्के के दो पहलू हैं। प्रार्थना का अर्थ है, इस संपूर्ण विश्वजगत की स्वायत्तता स्वीकार करते हुए उस परमसत्ता से स्वयं को जोड़ने का प्रयास और संगीत का अर्थ है अपने हृदय के भावों को लालित्यपूर्ण ढंग से प्रभु को प्रसन्न करने का प्रयास। दोनों का एक ही उद्देश्य है, प्रभु की प्राप्ति। प्रार्थना में भक्त अपने स्वयं के अस्तित्व को परमात्मा के सामने समर्पित करते हुए अपनी पुकार परमात्मा को सुनाता है और संगीत में भी भक्त अपने अंतर्मन के भावों को प्रभु को सुनाता है। इस तरह दोनों का उद्देश्य एक ही है, विधि अलग-अलग है। प्रार्थना में भक्त प्रार्थनामय हो जाता है।
