संघर्ष ही जीवन है. ..(Struggle is life...)

एक व्यक्ति पारिवारिक समस्याओं से जूझते हुए निराश हो गया। गहरे अवसाद में उसने एक दिन आत्महत्या का विचार किया। रात को वह देर से घर आया और नींद की गोलियां खाकर सो गया। शायद गोलियां कम थीं, इसलिए वह मरने की बजाय गहरी नींद में चला गया। तभी उसे अपने चारों ओर दिव्य प्रकाश दिखाई दिया और आवाज सुनाई दी, ‘बेटा! तुम अपना जीवन क्यों खत्म करना चाहते हो?’ उसे अहसास था कि आवाज भगवान की ही है। वह परेशान था, सो तल्ख शब्दों में जवाब दिया, ‘मेरी जिंदगी में जीने लायक कुछ नहीं बचा है।’ आवाज आई, ‘तुम हार क्यों मानते हो? ऐसा क्यों नहीं सोचते कि संघर्ष का नाम ही जीवन है। हर आदमी का जीवन संघर्ष से भरा है।’ उसे एक अंतहीन पोटलियों का ढेर दिखाई पड़ा और आवाज आई, ‘देखो, ये हैं हर आदमी की परेशानियों की पोटलियां, अगर तुम चाहो तो मैं तुम्हें अपनी समस्याएं किसी दूसरे से बदलने का मौका दे सकता हूं। बस कोई दो पोटलियां ही खोलकर तुम्हें फैसला करना होगा।’ वह व्यक्ति बहुत खुश हुआ। वह हमेशा सोचता था कि नगर का एक अमीर व्यक्ति सबसे सुखी होगा। अतः उसने उसकी पोटली खोली। उसमें भी चिंताएं और पीड़ाएं ही थीं। यह देखकर उसकी आंखों में पानी भर आया और उसने पोटली बंद कर दी। दूसरी पोटली खोलने की जगह वह भगवान के पैरों में गिरकर रोने लगा। सुबह जब वह उठा तो उसका तकिया आंसुओं से भीगा हुआ था और साथ ही नैराश्य भी मिट चुका था। जीवन संघर्ष का ही दूसरा नाम है, लेकिन सुखों की चाहत के कारण हमें अपने दुख पहाड़ के समान लगते हैं। यदि हम समग्र दृष्टि से देखें तो हर व्यक्ति अपने हिस्से के सुख और दुख अनुभव करता है। यदि स्वयं का चिंतन संकुचित न करें तो हम कठिनाइयों को हंसते-हंसते झेल सकते हैं।
