मनुष्य जीवन में उच्चता की तरफ बढ़ना तब प्रारंभ कर देता है जब उसके विचार सुदृढ़ और संकल्प श्रेष्ठ होते हैं। जब उसे यह समझ में आ जाए कि यह सब कुछ प्रकृति का है, अपना कुछ भी नहीं। इसलिए जो कुछ करना है, वह मानवता की सेवा और रक्षा के लिए करना है। शोषण और सेवा, आसक्ति व विरक्ति स्वार्थ और जनहित दोनों के धरातल पर अपने व्यक्तित्व से अलग हटकर जिस किसी ने भी मानवता के लिए, राष्ट्रहित के लिए अपना अस्तित्व मिटाकर काम किया है वह सदैव महान बना है। युगों तक ऐसे महान लोगों को पूजा जाता है। ऐसा इसलिए, क्योंकि न ही वे रूढ़िवादी होते हैं और न ही सांप्रदायिक। वह न धर्म नेता होता है और न ही राजनेता। वह एक ऐसा व्यक्ति होता है जो व्यष्टि और समष्टि, दोनों भावों में एक रूप होता है। वह एक रस होता है। इस बात का विशेष ध्यान रखें कि आपकी कोई भी चीज टिकाऊ नहीं है, क्योंकि आप स्वयं टिकाऊ नहीं हैं। आपका निर्माण ही संपूर्ण प्रकृति के अवयवों से हुआ है। जो परमात्मा का दिया हुआ एक अनुदान है। कुछ पल के लिए प्रकृति पुन: उसे अपने में समेटकर विलय कर लेती है। परंतु आपका किया हुआ कर्म पुन: उसे प्राप्त करने में समर्थ हो जाता है। नूतन का निर्माण करने में कर्म ही सहयोग करता है, बाकी सभी कुछ अतीत में डूब जाता है। अपने कर्मो को सुधारकर इसका लेखा-जोखा जरूर करें। अपने झूठे अहंकार को कायम रखने के लिए मानवता का गला न दबाएं।  इसे ढोकर आप कहां ले जाएंगे? जो मेरा दिखता है, वस्तुत: वह मेरा है नहीं। अपनी शक्तियों को जाग्रत कर स्वयं को पहचानने का प्रयास करें। आज का मानव कहीं न कहीं भटक गया है। जो भीतर से जगा है, जिसने अपने आपको समझ लिया है वह भटक नहीं सकता है। जो बाहरी दुनिया को सत्य समझता है, वह जल्दी ही टूट जाता है। मनुष्य शरीर में व्यक्ति सेवा कर सकता है। शायद यह देवताओं को भी प्राप्त नहीं। विचारों में परिवर्तन से मनुष्य के व्यक्तित्व में परिवर्तन होता है। व्यक्तित्व में परिवर्तन होने से संस्था और राष्ट्र के नियम एवं प्रणाली में परिवर्तन हो जाता है। इसीलिए धार्मिक गुरुओं और राजनेताओं के विचारों का श्रेष्ठ होना नितांत जरूरी है, क्योंकि इनके ऊपर ही राष्ट्र का भविष्य निर्भर करता है।
