सत्यमेव जयते . ..(Truth always wins. . ..)

दो दोस्त घाट पर पानी लाने गए। एक के पास मिट्टी का घड़ा था, दूसरे के पास चलनी थी। घाट के किनारे दोनों बैठे, पानी भरना शुरू किया। एक का घड़ा एक बार में ही पानी से पूरा भर गया मगर दूसरे की चलनी में पानी भरने का हर प्रयत्न व्यर्थ होता देखा गया। दोस्त निराशा से घिर गया। समझ नहीं पाया कि आखिर मेरे साथ ऐसा क्यों हुआ? एक बच्चा भी कह सकता है कि घड़े में पानी इसलिए भर गया कि उसमें बाहर निकलने का कोई रास्ता नहीं था। घड़ा पूर्ण था किंतु चलनी में तो अनेक छेद थे। भला उसमें पानी का ठहराव कैसे संभव होता? समस्या बाहर की नहीं, भीतर की है। एकाग्रचित्त होकर सोचना होगा।

एक व्यक्ति शिव मंदिर में जाकर रोज मूर्ति पर जल चढ़ाता था। जाड़ा हो, गर्मी हो, वर्षा हो, कभी नागा नहीं करता था। मंदिर के ठीक सामने एक घर था, जिसका मालिक नित्य-प्रति उस आदमी को आते और जल चढ़ाते देखता था। वह उसकी भक्ति से अभिभूत था। एक दिन उसने उसे रोककर कहा, ‘‘प्रभु के चरणों में आपकी भक्ति देखकर मेरा मन बड़ा मुग्ध है। आखिर प्रभु में इतनी लौ आपकी कैसे लगी?’’

उस आदमी ने कहा,‘मेरे पड़ोस में एक आदमी रहता था। मैंने उसकी थोड़ी-सी जमीन दबा ली। वह अदालत में चला गया। मुकदमा चला। मैंने भगवान भोलेनाथ से प्रार्थना की कि अगर मैं मुकदमा जीत जाऊं तो आप पर नित्य जल चढ़ाया करूंगा। उनकी कृपा से मैं मुकदमा जीत गया। अब मैं वचन का पालन किया करता हूं।’ भक्ति का रहस्य समझकर उसने सोचा- इसकी बाहरी आंखें खुली हैं पर भीतरी बंद हैं।

हममें में अधिकांश व्यक्तियों की स्थिति इसी प्रकार की है। हमारा स्वार्थ इतना प्रबल है कि उसकी पूर्ति में हम भला-बुरा कुछ भी नहीं देखते। हम जीवन के वास्तविक धर्म को भूल गए हैं। वास्तविक धर्म है अपने अंतः चक्षु को हर घड़ी खुला रखना। यदि मनुष्य में अच्छे-बुरे का विवेक नहीं रहेगा तो उसमें और पशु में अंतर क्या होगा? अच्छाइयां ही इंसान को इंसान बनाती है।

जीवन के इसी धर्म को जानने के लिए ऋषियों ने एक सूत्र दिया था - ‘हे प्रभु, मुझे असत्य से सत्य की ओर, अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर और मृत्यु से अमरता की ओर ले चलो।’ ये बातें तीन हैं, पर इनका तात्पर्य एक ही है। मानव और मानव-जीवन की श्रेष्ठता को सब स्वीकार करते हैं, किंतु कम लोग जानते हैं कि श्रेष्ठ मानव-जीवन कौन सा है। जिसने भौतिक संपदा अर्जित की है, सांसारिक भोग-विलास की वस्तुएं जुटाई हैं, उसे प्रायः सफल व्यक्तित्व माना जाता है। इस सबके पीछे कितनी अनीति, कितनी क्रूरता और कितनी अप्रामाणिकता छिपी है यह कोई नहीं देखता। अनैतिकता, क्रूरता, और पाशविकता से कमाया हुआ धन भले ही थोड़ी देर के लिए सकून दे, लेकिन जीवन भर राहत और चैन नहीं दे सकता। आज कलयुग है और गलत का फल तत्काल ही मिलता है, जैसे की आप सभी ने आस-पास देखा भी होगा. सत्यमेव जयते.

The situation is similar to most of us. Our selfishness is so potent that its fulfillment we do not see anything bad or good. We have forgotten the true religion of life. Real religion to open its Inter eye every clock. If man will not be in a good or bad conscience, then what would be the difference between him and the animal? The qualities that makes the human person.

Life to learn this religion sages had a formula - 'Lord, I lie to the truth, from darkness to light and from death to immortality take. "These things are three, but imply a only. The superiority of human and human-life all have to admit, but few people know that the best is what human life. The material wealth is earned, orgies worldly goods are raised, it is usually considered successful personality. What is behind all this immorality, cruelty and so unsoundness hidden so no one sees it. Immorality, cruelty, and bestiality earned money even relaxing for a while, giving relief and peace can not but throughout life. Today is a modern and immediately get the fruits of wrong, as you will have seen all around. Truth always wins.)
