शांति की ओर ..(Toward peace ..)

विश्व में यद्यपि धन का अभाव नहीं है, किंतु शांति का अभाव अवश्य है। धनोपार्जन के लिए इतनी अधिक जनशक्ति को दिग्भ्रमित किया जा रहा है कि सामान्य जनता की रुपये कमाने की क्षमता अधिकाधिक बढ़ गई है, किंतु इसका दीर्घकालीन परिणाम यह हुआ है कि इस अनियंत्रित और अन्यायपूर्ण मुद्रास्फीति से पूरे विश्व की अर्थव्यवस्था बिगड़ गई है और उसने ऐसे सस्ते धनोपार्जन के फल को ही नष्ट करने के लिए हमें बड़े-बड़े भारी लागत के शस्त्रस्त्र बनाने के लिए उकसाया है। धनोपार्जन करने वाले बड़े देशों के नेता लोग वास्तव में शांति का अनुभव नहीं कर रहे हैं, बल्कि आणविक अस्त्रों के द्वारा आसन्न विनाश से अपनी सुरक्षा की योजनाएं बना रहे हैं। वस्तुत: इन भयंकर अस्त्रों के परीक्षण के रूप में विपुल धन-राशि समुद्र में फेंकी जा रही है। ऐसे परीक्षण न केवल भारी आर्थिक लागत पर किए जा रहे हैं, बल्कि अनेक प्राणियों के जीवन को संकट में डाल कर भी हो रहे हैं। इस प्रकार विश्व के राष्ट्र कर्मफल के नियमों से बंधते जा रहे हैं। जब लोग इंद्रियतृप्ति की भावना से प्रेरित होते हैं तो जो भी धन कमाया जाता है वह नष्ट हो जाता है, क्योंकि उसका व्यय मानव जाति के संहार के लिए होता है। इस प्रकार मनुष्य के भगवान से विमुख होने के कारण मानवजाति की शक्ति नष्ट हो जाती है। ऐसा इसलिए, क्योंकि श्रीभगवान ही समस्त शक्तियों के स्वामी हैं। धन-संपदा की पूजा होती है उसे भाग्य की देवी या मां लक्ष्मी कहा जाता है।  कोई भी मनुष्य भाग्यलक्ष्मी का उपभोग श्रीनारायण की सेवा के बगैर नहीं कर सकता। इसलिए जो व्यक्ति लक्ष्मीजी का गलत उपयोग करना चाहेगा, उसे प्रकृति के नियमों द्वारा दंडित होना पड़ेगा। ये नियम निश्चित करेंगे कि धन-संपदा स्वयं शांति और संपन्नता लाने के बजाय विनाश का कारण बन जाएगी। इसलिए धन के इस्तेमाल के प्रति हमें अपने विवेक का परिचय देना चाहिए और यह सुनिश्चित कर लेना चाहिए कि जो भी धन है उसका मानव कल्याण के लिए सदुपयोग हो। अगर धन के इस्तेमाल के प्रति हमारे मन के भीतर भोग की भावना होगी तो उस धन का अपव्यय ही होगा और हमारा अपना आंतरिक नुकसान भी होगा। धन का सदुपयोग ही हमारे भीतर शांति और वास्तविक सुख लाता है।
